Dzyuba announces zenith

Leading player Artem Dzyuba has announced his farewell to Zenit St. Petersburg. "Thanks for everything!", The 33-year-old wrote on Sunday on Instagram. The striker switched to eight-time Russian football champions in summer 2015.

In 249 games he scored 108 goals for zenith, so he is in second place in the eternal goal scorer list of the club. In March, Dzyuba had made headlines with his decision that because of the war against Ukraine no longer wanted to be nominated for the squad of the Russian national team. The striker has led the Sbornaja to the pitch since 2018.
